J.J. Polytechnic College
J.J. Polytechnic college (JJPC) was established in the academic year 2005-2006. Now, JJPC has been administered by Sowdambikaa Group of Institutions.
The college is situated in Ammapettai village, 18 km from Tiruchirappalli abutting the National Highway (NH45) leading to Dindigul, in a sprawling area, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. JJPC has become one of the pioneering technical institutions in this part of the country.

PMJF Lion Dr. S. Ramamoorthiy comes from an Agricultural Family. He is a philanthropist, great visionary, modest, and compassionate, embodying all virtues. His dedication, involvement, and commitment to serving society with a human heart are well-received and admired by everyone.
Since his early days, he has fervently believed that education alone can transform a person’s life, as prosperity lies therein. Two decades ago, he embarked on a journey to fulfill his vision of reaching the unreached and providing modern, 21st-century education. Today, the Sowdambikaa Group of Schools proudly stands with numerous schools and colleges, educating 30,000 students under the guidance of 2900 teachers. Dr. S. Ramamoorthiy has achieved many accolades and milestones, propelling the institution to greater heights.
He leads by example, admired by all teachers and staff, and is known for his friendly and approachable demeanor with parents and students. Under his capable guidance, motivation, and leadership, J.J. Polytechnic College in Tiruchirappalli is now managed by Sowdambikaa Group of Institutions.

The Sowdambikaa group of institutions has been dedicated to serving society by promoting education through its schools and colleges. JJ Polytechnic, as part of the Sowdambikaa group, is renowned for its quality education and services both nationally and internationally. At JJPC, our motto is “Knowledge empowers.” Since its inception, our college has focused on producing engineers who are not only leaders but also sought-after professionals in the employment market.
